Rainforest in the Atherton Table Lands

Our first day in Cairns was an opportunity to start exploring the Australian rainforest.

We headed up for the table lands - named like this since they are on a plateau at about 800 metres around Cairns.

Lots of great things to see - the Cathedral Fig tree in the first picture, myself :) and some nice waterfalls.
