Kata Tjuta or The Olgas

We flew from Perth to Ayers Rock (or Yulara in Anangu aboriginal language) on a nice Tuesday morning.

Our adventures over there will be detailed in another post, suffice to say for the time being that Avis didn't try hard enough to do right by us so we were left without a car, therefore without accomodations since we had reserved for a place outside the resort and we ended up sleeping two nights in a tent - with temperatures dropping below 0 Celsius during the night.

However, once that got settled we woke bravely into the cold morning and caught our ride @ 6h30 to catch the sunrise on the Kata Tjuta. These rocks are neighbours of the famed Uluru rock and are an important site for the Anangu Man.
