Kalbarri is also blessed with a great parrot farm, or Rainbow farm as they call it here.
It's a great place to see all the parrots and cockatoos you've ever wanted to see ... we spent a long time in there, and we were in a hurry.
Some of them are friendly and playful as the little fellow in the 2nd picture, some are very shy and hide while others just make a huge noise.
